Our Story
In 2014, Pastor Derrick visited a conference that inevitably changed his life. After prayer and fasting, in a hotel room in Florence, Alabama, Amazing Church was birthed.
We desire to see the church rise and be the standard of living where all can find their path to living out our purpose for being on the planet with passion, vigor, and fun.

We want to have a revolution of how we do church and gather people to eradicate how differences separate us and use them to strengthen us. We want to see the outcast find inclusion and the left out find a place to grow. We invite you to see for yourself how Amazing the church experience can be when people are free to go after God with passion. Hope restored gives courage, and loving people is what God wants and what we do.
Why We Exist
All people are born receptive to love, kindness, and hope. Amazing Church restores hope and loves people to life with biblical teaching and deep care for everyone. We are building believers of faith to expand the Kingdom of God and impact the world.
Amazing Church is a non-denominational ministry that believes we have a responsibility to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ - to go and make disciples.

God desires to fill us with hope that we will have the victory in the faith fight of our lives. We desire to encourage you in our Amazing Experiences that are geared to attract those far from God and those returning to God, so that they may find the encouragement they need to win in life.

We value that God desires for us to build each other up in our faith. We see this value being provided by our small groups known as "A-Life". In "A-Life" believers have the opportunity to connect and share with each other to strengthen their faith and expand the Kingdom of God.

We value the gifts and talents of every member of the body of Christ and believe that God desires for everyone to exercise their giftings to bring fulfillment in life. We provide Discover Amazing to equip believers with the opportunity to learn about the church, discipleship and discover their gifts that will assist them in finding an area of ministry to serve.

Teaching and helping you discover your gifts and talents while putting it into action by serving on our A-Team in an area of ministry. It is there where believers work together with the Holy Spirit to expand the gospel to restore hope and love people back to life, so that they can live in freedom every day.

The act of taking responsibility for the community that we live in and the lives that are in it is how we engage our community. We build relationships by serving and sharing the gospel to be the difference in the world, to change the world.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. The new covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, is what we accept as our infallible guide in matters all pertaining to conduct and doctrine.

Our God is one but is manifested in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - all being co-equal. The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal.

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and the image of God. But through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil and to give His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God.

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts.

We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation.

Following the tribulation, He shall return to the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Then together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign for a thousand years.

The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal.
